Tagged: coupon codes
Would it be possible to make the coupon code field only show up when one or more conditions for using a code have been met? For instance, if a site only had one coupon code tied to one product, the coupon code field wouldn’t display if that particular product wasn’t in the cart.
Customers tend to start looking for codes once they see a field like that, and this would help sites with very few coupon codes cut down on cart abandonment.
We don’t really have a way of doing that. You can turn off the discount coupon field from the discounts menu but it can’t be turned of dynamically based on other conditions.
