Tagged: add to cart, free download
Hi, I’m trying to set the “Button Redirect Target URL” on a product to download a (free) PDF file directly, bypassing the whole checkout system for this one free product. When I click on it I get this error page:
“Not Acceptable!
An appropriate representation of the requested resource could not be found on this server. This error was generated by Mod_Security.”
Not sure what I’m doing wrong, or if there’s a way to do this (or even just have no button, i have the product title and thumbnail both linking to the PDf in fancy2 display).
2 other unrelated questions:
1: Is there a way to make a thumbnail in fancy2 display not clickable? I only know how to either set a custom URL or it becomes a clickable image.
2: Is there a way to get rid of the grey border on the shopping cart (normal shortcode and fancy1)? I tried looking around wp_estore_style.css but couldn’t find the right code.
Thank you!
Go to the following settings and check the “Use Link for Button Redirection” option:
eStore Settings -> Advanced Settings
Let me know if you still see the error after that.
At the moment if you use a thumbnail image then it is going to be clickable.
Please share a link to the page where you have the cart so I can give you the necessary CSS tweak for it.
