eStore – How to amend Free Download email text?

I would like to ensure that a more personal message with salutation and sign off is sent to people who subscribe to the Free Download. It seems that it is possible to change the text for product sales but I don’t see how for the Free Download.

Thanks for this link. I found the files and made most of the changes I needed. However the last change I want to make is with the ‘Dear John Doe’ line, I want to present it it as ‘Dear John’ however I cannot see what I need to change on the relevant line in order to achieve this, see below:

The name of the user comes from what the user enters in the squeeze form. It simply takes the value of the “Your Name” field.

Ok, that’s not great. Are there any plans to split the ‘your name’ box/field into ‘First Name’ and ‘Surname’ on the squeeze form? It would make it a lot easier to ensure the full name of the prospect was collected, transferred in to Aweber/Mailchimp etc and it would allow for a more courteous greeting when sending the download notification email

Yeah, I am working on introducing a settings option to customize the squeeze form email more.

Hi, has this been implemented in the stylish squeeze form add-on? Integration into MailChimp lists is a problem at the moment with only one name field.

Yes the email that the squeeze form sends is the same one for the stylish squeeze form addon.
