I want to customize the styling of the receipt, but I can’t see how to access a preview of the pdf before using it in production.

How can I test it without having to make a transaction ?

Of course I can wait until a new customer buys a product and check the result on the generated receipt, but that doesn’t seem to be the most convenient way to proceed.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Hi Benoît, Do a test transaction one so a receipt URL gets created. You can then use that same URL again and again to preview the receipt after you make some changes.

I have added {receipt_data} to the buyer’s post purchase email but I keep getting an error message when I click on the link when testing in the paypal sandbox. I have also gone directly to the receipt log on the site. How do I make the {receipt_data} function work correctly? Does testing using PP sandbox screw up the receipt function?

Here is a sample of the error messages I :

TCPDF ERROR: [Image] Unable to get image: /tmp/img_KUGbXq

Looks like the PDF library is failing to get the image on your site. Usually happens if the logo image you are using is problematic. Are you using a logo? Did you use a valid image for it?

What happens if you don’t use the logo? Do a test without using the logo and let me know what result you get.
