Hello there, I recently purchased WP eStore, as I have been using WP Paypal Shopping Cart for a while but realized that there’s no simple ability (that I knew of) to limit the number of times an item could be bought (no inventory). So I bought the WP eStore plugin, which seems to have this ability. The trouble is, I already have a number of products configured to use the shortcodes for WP Paypal Shopping Cart and I don’t want to have to re-enter all of them as products all over again.
Ideally, I would just keep the current system in place and utilize an additional piece to the shortcodes that are in place. For example:
[wp_cart_button name=”ART JOURNALING ADVENTURES” price=”90″]
would simply become
[wp_cart_button name=”ART JOURNALING ADVENTURES” price=”90″ quantity=”4″]
just having the ability to add the quantity designation would be awesome and save me a whole bunch of time.
Is this possible? or do I need to re-enter each of the products I already have as products within the new eStore’s format?
Many thanks in advance,
Dave
Unlike the “simple” cart plugin, eStore uses a database to hold product information. You must migrate all of your product information into the eStore database.
