Any plans to include support for Google Cloud Storage similar top your AWS S3 support?
Not yet.
Amazon is supported because it provides native support for expiring/encrypted URL. Google Drive & Cloud Storage objects does not.

The problem with this approach will be that your server bandwidth usage will DOUBLE, because the downloaded data must pass from Google Drive, to your server, and then to your users.
Is there a particular reason for not wanting to use AWS?
Not really. I just moved my sites to a WordPress Multisite install running on Google Compute engine. I can still use AWS for CDN and WP-eStore, no issues. Was just asking.
Is there and “upcoming enhancements” or “whats on the radar” page for the various plugins anywhere.
I just did a review of what else is out there and I decided to stay with Wp-eStore and the other products on the site. I was wondering whats in the future.
