Tagged: discount shipping, free shipping
Hi all,
We have had a good trawl through the forum and read up on a few additions but can’t seem to find the answer – apologies if we have missed it somewhere.
In our store we have categories of products, all have free shipping and they come from different suppliers so combined shipping wouldn’t make sense in any case. So the clothing and accessories categories are working fine at flat prices.
We’re now adding a new category for ‘Essentials Packs’ which include a number of items with variations included. All 3 variations are in use on these items.
Once a shopper has added an essential pack to their cart, they’re redirected to an ‘Optional Add on’ Page.
These additions are cheaply priced and would be added into the pack.
However, we need to make sure that the add-ins are ONLY able to be purchased with an essential pack, or ensure that if they are purchased without an essentials pack, they are charged additional P&P costs to cover their shipping.
Does anyone know how we can do this? Either option is fine, although the preference would be to have them available but with shipping costs.
We would appreciate any help.
I don’t think we have an structure to handle this unfortunately.
Can you make those add-ins products to have a product specific shipping cost? So if those are added to the cart, it will trigger additional shipping cost.
