I couldn’t find your feature request section so I hope I’m not putting this in the wrong place:
The export to CSV function in the Manage Customers panel of eStore exports exactly the information I want for weekly/monthly/quarterly sales reports, but I don’t see any way to only export a subset of records. Because it always exports everything, I can’t append it to my master spreadsheet for the year without doing a lot of cleanup. I know I can export from Paypal, but it takes too long to get to the page and then set it up. It would be awesome if I could display the items in eStore by a selected date range and have the option to only export the matching items.
The following aren’t as vital to me as the above, but I’ve often felt they were missing:
I wish this table acted more like some of the other tables by being able to do the following:
• clicking on any column head to sort
• a checkbox column for bulk processing, like deletion or other modifications
And I wouldn’t mind being able to archive records from past years like on the Order Management page.
I also have to say that the name for this section doesn’t seem to fit. It seems more like “Items Sold” than customers. Likewise, I think ItemSold ID would be a more accurate name for the first column than Customer ID.
But, all in all, I think this is a really wonderful plugin for a very reasonable price. And combined with eMember, my biggest issues of the past are finally solved. So thank you for that!
July 13, 2015 at 2:17 am #70779adminKeymasterWhat you are trying to do seems like something that should be done from the stats menu. You can select date range and it will give you stats of your item sales. You can copy the data from there. We can add a CSV export option there also. Have you explored the stats menu a little bit?
July 13, 2015 at 2:25 am #70780veramiloSpectatorYes, I did, but I only see totals. This is good for quick overviews, but I’m looking for the kind of detailed customer info on each sale that the Manage Customers page gives. And I would like the option to export. I prefer bar charts to line charts so I set those up in my spreadsheet.
July 13, 2015 at 2:29 am #70781adminKeymasterAt the bottom of the stats page it has an itemized sale stats section that tells you exactly how many copies of what product you sold and at what price and stuff like that. You can easily use that info to create bar charts or any other charts you prefer.
July 13, 2015 at 2:43 am #70782veramiloSpectatorI saw that, too, but it isn’t only the charts that I’m interested in. I want the names and emails of the customers themselves as well as the product, sale date and time (time is missing, but I can live with that), etc. This way I can have a single document on my computer that I can access for whatever info I need — sales charts (daily, weekly, etc.), emails, etc. I like EVERYTHING that’s exported on the Manage Customers panel, I just don’t like that it can only export ALL the records rather than a date range. I’d like to be able to update my local file periodically.
July 14, 2015 at 6:27 am #70783adminKeymasterI will look into adding an option to export between certain dates.
