I have a product that’s a zipped file of 6 mp3s, file size 400MB. When testing downloads with the unencrypted download link, it downloads and extracts with no issues. When using the encrypted link, the file WILL download to my computer as a zipped file, but I get this error when trying to extract it:
“Unable to expand {file name} into “Downloads”. Error 2 – no such file or directory.” — > when using Mac’s Archive Utility. Of course, there is a Downloads folder that exists on my Mac.
“There was a problem while reading the contents of the file “file-name-here”: Data is corrupted. —> when using The Unarchiver app.
If I continue, I see that it can extract 1 out of the 6 files. (File name substituted for privacy.)
I tested on a PC and it doesn’t extract either.
I followed the steps here: https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/how-to-test-wp-estore-plugin-encrypted-download-system-on-your-site
and the test.zip file downloads correctly. The other eStore products I created (such as a PDF file) downloads with no issues using the encrypted link as well.
Here is the debug file (name of our website and file name substituted for privacy):
[04/06/2014 12:52 PM] – Status : Unresolved DL file path = http://{ourwebsite}.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/downloads/mp3/test_mp3.zip
[04/06/2014 12:52 PM] – Status : Resolved DL file path = /var/chroot/home/content/28/5391428/html/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/downloads/mp3/test_mp3.zip
[04/06/2014 12:52 PM] – Status : Dispatching DL method = 1
[04/06/2014 12:52 PM] – SUCCESS : DL completed with no server-side errors detected.
Is the file size too big? I doubt it though since I saw some forum posts where their file was even 1GB. How should I go about resolving this? If you need me to send an encrypted link to you off-forum (via the eStore Admin Functions) to help with troubleshooting, please let me know the email address I should send it to. Thank you.

April 8, 2014 at 12:31 am #62149SeraMemberWe only have 5 active plugins, none of which is a caching plugin. Is there anything else we can try?
April 8, 2014 at 12:50 am #62150wzpModeratorOkay, let’s face it. Unless you’re paying for a high end hosting package; even if you did not have this problem — because you are dealing with 400 MB files, you’d next end up with HTTP session timeout problems. So, let’s cut to the chase and go straight to the Amazon S3 integration solution:
The first year is free, and the average monthly cost should be about 15 cents or less.
