Hi all, I was wondering what this setting does and why it was checked/on by default as it says “Use it IF we have advised you to do so.”
I have the latest build and a few addons (extra short codes, order management).
It is used for, cases in which the “usual” method of URL redirection fails on a specific server. If in the past, your site was ever debugged by us; we might have asked you to turn the setting on. In any case; is there a particular reason why you want to otherwise “…try to fix something that isn’t broken?”
We have made that option the default one as it works better on most servers. So it is now enabled by default.
I’ll leave it on. I was just confused by the contradiction.
