eStore / eMember – move squeeze form customers to members

Hi, I’ve had a bit of a search through the forums but cannot find a specific way to achieve the following. Apologies if I missed something!

Currently I have a squeeze form that emails the user a free download link after submission. URL for squeeze form is here – [http://chosenweddingcollective.com/guides/]

We will soon be offering more free download material but for the users that have already signed up for the first free download we’d like them just to be able to log in to the site to download the next new free product, for new users they would need to register to gain access to the same page. So basically we would be removing the squeeze form and moving to a regular log in / join page.

If I set up the site as above this leaves a problem with the people that have already signed up, they exist as customers but not as members, I assume I would need to set them up as members instead? Can you please advise if there is a simple way to convert the existing customers in to members ?

Hi Stu, Here is how you can get those users to become a member.

Create a page and use the following so users can come to this page and signup directly to that membership level:

https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/create-a-registration-form-for-a-particular-membership-level-429

You can now tell those customers to go to this page and create an account. After that you can remove this page.
