eStore – eMember integration

I currently own eMember but do not have the eStore plugin. Is the scenario below possible using these two products? I would like to know before I make the investment.

SCENARIO:

My customer is looking to Sell a digital product and in the process give a 1 year membership to the site. With that being said, any current members would receive a 1 year extension to their membership.

Yes, you can do the above. There is a video on this page which shows you what is involved in making a membership payment button using eSore:

The 2nd question about “current members getting extension” has nothing to do with eStore. You can manually extent the account of those current users. Alternatively, you can make a free upgrade/extend button that those users can click to upgrade their account to a level that has “1 year membership”. There is a shortcode in eMember that lets you create a button like the one I mentioned. This post has more details on it:
