Estore emember estore paypal checkout mailchimp taking paypal email address

I am using estore and emember with mailchimp autoresponder set on for both. I am using emember registration as a free registration and then using estore to pay to upgrade the user to a different emember level. That said,

I set auto responder for both emember and estore enabled for mailchimp. THe user registers on emember with emailAdress1. Isee that wordpress user and emember registers the user and the user gets on mail list 1 at mailchimp.

When the user pays to upgrade, he logs in. then uses estore to upgrade to level 2. When he pays Paypal, he pays with a different email address than the one that he registered with.

THe email that gets put on mailchimp for the specific maillist associated with the level 2 emember is put as the paypal email and not the email for the user when he registered for the free level.

How do I fix this?

You didn’t enable mailchimp in your estore also did you? What version of estore and emember are you using?
