Our setup: We have current WordPress, eStore and eMember. Viewers must register as a free member to purchase professional products, including pay-per-view videos.
Product settings: I have set up the video on a page and added the aprtp prefix as the product URL and checked the pay per view box, not the downloadable box.
eStore Settings: Duration of download link set to 48 hours; Pay Per View Content Settings – This is blank. I’m wondering if I need something here? I looked for hours on the forum for something about this box; couldn’t find anything.
Shortcode on the product purchasing page: [wp_eStore_fancy_display id=551 type=2 style=2 order=3 restriction=2]
Encrypted actual product page: [http://mybellacolor.com/cosmetologist_products/educational-videos/panels-chunks/]
The Problem: When members purchase a viewing (good for 48 hours, set on the ), they are sent an email link to the encrypted page with the video. But the link goes to the orange “login or register to purchase” screen; and it doesn’t matter if you’re logged in or not – the link doesn’t go to the video page. (Sidenote: member purchase of downloadable pdfs with PDF Stamper is working fine.)
Thanks for any help!
September 1, 2013 at 6:29 pm #57528wzpModeratorPlease enable, and reset the debug logs. Then using the Admin Functions page, create an encrypted link for the product; which is the APR protected page. Copy and paste the encrypted link into the address bar of a browser. Then examine the Download_manager_Debug.log file to see what is going on with the redirection from the encrypted link.
P.S. for the sake of clarity; the links are “encrypted,” and the pages with the APR shortcodes are “protected.”

September 1, 2013 at 8:24 pm #57530wzpModeratorCould you please briefly outline the placement and ordering of the shortcodes you are using on that page?

September 1, 2013 at 8:52 pm #57532SharonSMemberI was wrong about having the current plugin versions. Didn’t realize there wouldn’t be update notifications as usual within WordPress. Here’s what we have:
eStore: 6.9.6.8
eMember: 5.5
PDF Stamper: 4.1.9
September 1, 2013 at 9:28 pm #57533SharonSMemberAfter all that, I found my error. The video page is protected, but I forget to check the membership level box. The link works now. Thank you so much for your time!
