eStore – Email notification to seller when last serial number used?

Hi,

(1) Is there any way of getting eStore to send me an email notification when the last serial number for one of the products in the store is used?

(2) What happens if a customer buys a product but there are no more serial numbers available?

(3) What happens if a customer buys 5 licenses to a product and there are only 3 serial numbers left in the list?

You can set the available inventory to match the number of serial numbers. Then, no sales will be allowed if you run out of serial numbers.

It doesn’t send any email when you run out of serial numbers. It kind of expects that you will put enough numbers there and refill before you run out.

Hmm, it’s a little tricky to keep track of a dozen or so products. So please consider this an official “feature request” — email notification when licenses have run out (or even better, when they are about to run out, e.g. 3 left or something).

By the way, are we allowed to try and modify the plugin ourselves? If so, could you point me to the .php file that I would want to look at the reads the serial number list — maybe I’ll be able to insert a line to send an email when there are none left, if that is ok according to the Terms and Conditions.
