Hi, i’m using eStore and eMember to sell digital goods, they’re working great. However, last week some clients told me their download links and payment details were sent to their paypal address, instead of the email address they signed up my store, that caused some misunderstanding.
I believe a lot people do that, they use more than one email accounts, one sign up for paypal, and use the other one for some registrations. Now, is it possible ,that i can send links and payment details to the their registration and paypal email addresses at the same time?
The current behavior is an anti-fraud measure. If the links were sent to a non PayPal account address; you will 100% lose, when it comes to chargebacks and “proof of delivery” claims.
The appropriate solution is for the buyer to link their “other” email addresses to their existing PayPal account. They would then checkout, using the linked email address. The PayPal receipt email would go to their primary PayPal email address, and the links would go to the linked email address.
Since you are using the emember plugin, you can also use the following feature so the user can see the purchased info on a page and re-download the items (without having to rely on the email):
Check the “Display Member’s Purchase History With an Option to Download” section from that page.
If you are using the 3rd option explained in the following page (whereby a user has to have an account on your site before they can buy anything), the above feature will work nicely for you:

Thank you very much!I never thought about anti-fraud measure, now it looks like i need to do some homework about it.
