I have set a digital download url that points to a high resolution version of the photo I am selling – yet the link generated points to the the medium resolution image of the file used in slideshows by the NexGen Gallery plugin. This is occurring when using the WP eStore auto template and NexGen (to automate the addition of the add to cart button under each image). I have setup, sold and successfuly received the correct high resolution link when I manually added the cart button to a single image, but when I use the auto method, the wrong link is delivered?
Why is the download link generated by the estore, not using the link to the high resolution file I pasted into the URL field of the product?
Hi, There are two different methods of integration (you can’t mix them together and expect a different result). They will do exactly as our documentation says.
In your case, you are using method 2 of the integration which delivers the image that you are using in your NextGen gallery (not the one you configure in the “Digital Product URL” field of eStore). Thats the whole point of this integration method so that you don’t need to configure the product URL for each image. This is explained in details on our integration documentation:

If you want to deliver a different image then you need to use Method 1 which also has it’s own documentation:
