eStore – Download Error States Too Many Downloads of Link

I did a test purchase on my store. I purchased both tangible and digital items to confirm that I had commission levels set properly. My confirmation email arrived with the link for the download link, but when I tried to click the download link, I received the following error message:

“The secure download manager ran into a problem that it couldn’t handle, and is unable to process your download request.

The problem was due to the following reason:

The download link (see browser address bar) has been used too many times. If you think this reason is in error, please contact the site administrator.”

What went wrong and how can I correct it? My store opens in less than a week.

Uncheck Shorten Encrypted Download Links, save the settings and try again with a manually generated link.

Also, what do you have for the Duration of Download Link and Download Limit Count settings? Leaving a setting “blank” does not mean “no limit.”
