estore doesn't seem compatible with launch effect theme

I just created a new site using the viral sharing theme called launch effect. I wanted to use wp estore and wp affiliate to create an affiliate program for my product but when I activate the wp estore plugin all the pages come up blank and my countdown counter won’t work. There seems to be some kind of conflict with this plugin and my theme.

any ideas how I can get this to work?

Apparently, the theme developer is aware of conflicts with other plugins:

You should collaborate with the developer to resolve the problems.

I seriously doubt you will ever get the theme to properly work, because the theme has not been updated since Christmas Eve, 2011.
