eStore- Does Paypal communicate with eStore when there is a cancellation?

When the member cancels the recurring payment in paypal, does eStore know to communicate with Wishlist to block their membership access when it is up?

Yes it does. If you issue a refund or if he customer cancels the subscription, eStore will notify the membership plugin and deactivate the corresponding membership account.
