eStore – disable product images link to a different page

Hello,

I turned off the lightbox feature for the product’s images but when you click on the images now it’s sent to the URL where the image lives in the uploads folder. Is there any way to disable the images to be links?

I would like the images to be links when the lightbox feature is turned on only. Otherwise, they should be regular images.

Please advise.

Be default the image goes to the image URL so users can see the full size image in the browser since you are not using lightbox.

You can link your thumbnail to any URL you like. Simply specify a URL value in the “Thumbnail Image Link” field. This will link the image to the product page rather than the image itself. The help text of that field has more explanation.

can that be turned off where it only displays the image without any linking?

Hi,

You can’t disable the click-ability of the images from the settings.

You will have to modify the code as per this post:
