Hi. Here’s my situation:
I’m selling a download of a record. I’d like to give the customer the option to make their own bundle by adding another record to purchase and download in addition to the original product. So in my product’s settings, I click “Variations”, then in the “Digital Product Variations”, “Variation Name” field I have “Make a bundle”. In the first “Variation Value”, I have “No thanks!”. In the second variation value, I have “Add record X”, and I specify a price for “X” and I fill in that product’s URL.
My understanding, was that the customer would then receive 2 links, enabling them to download the original product and also the add-on product they chose. But what is happening, is the customer is ONLY receiving the add-on product’s link.
Was I mistaken in thinking that eStore would deliver both links? Or is eStore setup so that the added-on product will override the original product’s link and that is ONLY what the customer will get?
Thanks for the help.

That’s not how variations work.
Since you are offering both a physical and digital variation; perhaps this will help:

Physical Variations: Product = Shirt
Variations: Small, Medium, Large
You only get one shirt.
Physical mixed with Digital Variations: Product = Music Album
Variations: Regular CD, Limited Edition CD, Digital Download Only
You only get one of the three versions (variations) of the album.
Digital Variations: Product = Software
Variations: Personal Edition, Business Edition, Enterprise Edition
You only get one edition.
I think what you want to do is have 2 digital variations: the base product, and with the add-on. In which case, the first variation should be the base product URL, and the second variation should be a URL to a zip file containing both the base product and the add-on.
