Tagged: deliver a link
A client is selling tests that he bought in bulk. We need to deliver an encrypted link via wpestore. We are getting an error how can we make this work? Pretty please.
ERROR:
The secure download manager ran into a problem that it couldn’t handle, and is unable to process your download request. Please contact the site administrator.
Please tell the site administrator the problem was due to the following reason:
The file (on the server) containing your download couldn’t be opened.
Hi,
Can you please go through the checklists in the following link to troubleshoot the problem you are having:

The important part is to enable the debug logs, so we can see what’s going on with the download_manager_debug.log file.
Ok…we went through the checklist, but I think my original query wasn’t clear. The product we’re trying to deliver isn’t a downloadable file, but an online test and subsequent meeting scheduler link, both delivered via URL (not file). We don’t want to deliver the instructions via file due to the fact that we then cannot encrypt the links and they could be shared. Does that change the answer any since it’s not a file we’re trying to deliver but simply send them to a URL (or in one product’s case two URLs) to complete their online test and schedule time with my client?
Thanks!
