estore – Customer 'submit' cart, without payment?

Hello,

We are just starting to create an online photography gallery/store for a client. I’ve been following the nextgen+estore tutorials which are going just fine.

However, the client is hoping that a customer can add various photos to their cart, with sizing, and then they could submit that as a form or email that could then be checked over?

So I am wondering if there is a way to store people’s carts, without them submitting a payment.. or what the work-around for this may be. I supposed we could set up a 100% off coupon, if need be.

I think using a 100% coupon with manual checkout would be a good way to handle this. See option 1 from the following post:

Or you can enable manual checkout option in eStore then instruct your customers to use the manual checkout (not discount coupon necessary). The manual checkout doesn’t charge you any money as it is a manual process. The admin will know exactly what items the customer had in the cart and can do whatever checks he/she needs to do.
