Hello, I am a new eStore manager. One of the things I noticed is the plugin is a strange behavior with the customer manager. If a customer purchases 3 items at once, the customer manager is acting as if three customers purchased one item each.
For example… this is a copy/paste of the customer manager with name and email redacted. According to the customer manager, customer 3,4,5,6 are all different customers even though they are the same person from the same transaction.

Part of the problem is when you click the button to get a list of the customers email addresses, you will get the above referenced customer’s email four times in the list. How can this be corrected?

My understanding is that the output in the “Manage Customers” section is produced on a per transaction basis where each individual product which was in the cart is displayed.
That is, when a customer makes a purchase there will be a unique transaction ID for that purchase. For example if you customer purchased 3 products for a single transaction ID, then all three products will be listed separately in the “Manage Customers” section.
October 21, 2012 at 9:35 pm #50558timned88Memberi understand what you explained but why does the customer keep getting assigned a new id number? i.e. customer id’s #3,4,5,6 are all the same customer from the same transaction. when i click the “display all customers email list” i get the same person’s email 4 different times.

That’s just the way it was designed and I can assure you that there is nothing wrong with your system.
Do you have an issue where you can’t get some details or get something to work?
October 22, 2012 at 12:18 pm #50560timned88MemberPeter, my issue was not wanting to send the same customer multiple emails if I did an email blast. Plus it would be nice to be able to pull up the records and see if the same person made multiple purchases at different times (kind of like a running purchase history).
October 23, 2012 at 4:32 am #50561adminKeymasterWe should be able to give you the option to generate a list of email addresses (comma separated) of all your customers (no duplicate email addresses will be in this list). I will give you an update.
October 26, 2012 at 7:01 am #50562adminKeymasterI have added this option in the eStore plugin. Now, it will generate a unique list of email addresses when you use this feature in the manage customers area.
Download a new copy of eStore plugin to get this option:
