    Hi,

    we have a customer in Bali who is seeing a blank page after clicking the paypal checkout button; he’s having the same issue on 3 different browsers, although he has successfully used Paypal from there on other occasions.

    The ‘redirecting to paypal’ popup shows up for a second or two, then he gets a blank white page, but the product page url remains.

    I’ve asked him to send me a HAR file captured from Chrome’s development tools, of the point at which he clicks the paypal button, but can’t see anything obvious going wrong there.

    We’ve been using the eStore plugin for nearly a year now with no problems; most of our customers have been from the EU or the US, although a couple were from Australia.

    To my knowledge, this is the first time someone outside those regions has tried to purchase one of our products; – is there something special I need to configure in eStore and/or Paypal for countries outside the EU and US?

    Thanks in advance for any advice

    Our plugin does not do any kind of blocking, like that.

    Since Bali is a province of Indonesia; it may be possible (but not proven) there is some kind of censorship going on. For instance, sites that host Vimeo content may find their site content being run through state Internet filters. Also, there may be some kind of caching going on at the government level, that may affect other aspects of your site.

    In other words, there is a “black box” between your Bali customer’s computer and the rest of the Internet.

    What kind of site are you running? That may be a hint.

    Hi and thanks for your advice;

    the site is [http://www.palaceofstories.com/] – selling downloadable audio stories for children in mp3 format. Not usually considered a threat to many regimes, but hey, maybe they don’t like witches, wizards and dragons!

    Thanks again for your help and time

    We have parents in America who swear that every youth crime is related to Dungeons & Dragons; and that Call of Duty inspires school shootings!
