eStore – coupon for digital download after newsletter signup

In eStore, I’m wondering if there is a way to have a customer sign-up for a newsletter, then after they sign-up they receive a coupon for a free digital media download?

How are you “signing up” your customers for the newsletter?

They’re signing up via MailChimp plugin on my WordPress site.

Step 1) Setup option 1 from the following post:

Step 2) Create a conditional coupon that gives 100% discount for a certain product (the product you want to give for free).

Step 3) Give that coupon to your Mailchimp subscribers via the newsletter.
