I created the coupon code good for the month of July. Our customer tried to use the coupon but the discount of $10 was not applied to her total. She met all of the conditions: sub-total was greater than $25, the transaction occurred during the month of July, the redemption limit had not been reached (she was the first to try and use the coupon). So, unless I set it up wrong, I can’t understand why it did not work. I have the coupon system checked, the coupon is active, the date parameters are set for 7/1/2015 to 8/1/2015. Unless the $ and decimal places are required when you set up the condition to be met (I just corrected that, just in case), what else should I have done to make the coupon work at checkout? Fortunately, this is a good customer and won’t affect our reputation, but this just cannot happen again.
Does it tell you why it didn’t take the coupon? Usually it gives you an error message if it doesn’t take the coupon (due to some condition not meeting).
Send me the steps I can take on your site to see the issue.
