eStore coupon and eMember membership

I would like to offer a coupon for the full amount of a membership. When I set up a coupon for the full amount of a membership, it did not seem to apply. Is there a way to accomplish this? I want to offer a membership with a 1 day duration and essentially have the ability to send out coupons for 1 day access free. I thought I might accomplish this by offering a coupon for the full amount of the membership, but that doesn’t seem to be working.

PayPal won’t allow you to do a $0 amount transaction this is why eStore doesn’t let you do this. What you can do is give them a 99% discount or give them a offer of $1 for 1 day. You can also use a subscription payment for the membership which has a 1 day trial so they will not get charged anything for the 1st day but it will start to charge them the membership fee (this depends on what you setup) if they don’t cancel before the day is over.
