Tagged: cart follow
My question is, how do I make it so that the customer can click on ‘page1’,
find something he likes there and clicks ‘add to cart’, then he goes to ‘page2’,
and the cart is still available? I want the cart to follow him through a store
that has multiple random page URL’s. The way I have it now, analogously it’s
like I’m only able to shop one aisle at a time in the grocery store, and there’s
a cashier working at every aisle, which is nice but I really just want to fill
up my cart with items from -every- aisle, and then see -one- cashier at the
end of my trip.
If possible I’d like to be able to have the cart only on pages that are related
to product sales, and I would prefer not to use a sidebar.
Hopefully this is clear, I have difficulty asking coherent questions when it
comes to this “technical internet stuff” (lol) even though I’m pretty decent
and won’t need to have you over-explaining the answers to me. Alright,
thanks very much.

That’s how the shopping cart works by default. Simply place the eStore’s shopping cart shortcode on the pages you like (your product pages). Now, your customer will only see the cart on your product pages and they can keep adding items until they are ready to checkout.
