eStore – can you use variation control with text links

Is there a way to use the variation control so that my customers can update their add-ons once they’ve added something to the cart? I use the text links option to purchase and want to know if there’s a way to get around having to use the display boxes to make this happen.

Yes, you can specify variations in a text link:

So, there’s no way to let them pick the variation that they want? I will have to have a link for each of the different variations? I want them to be able to create their own choices instead of having to click several different links.

Well, if you know Javascript; you could create a browser side script to let them pick, and then dynamically assemble the link.

The text link just lets you add an item via an link. How you generate or create the link is upto you.
