eStore – can subscription style payment have manual option?

Hi,

is it possible to have my manual payment page option, that works great alongside PayPal “add to cart” products, with subscription type payments? At the moment subscription type payments jump straight into paypal subscription screen,

The manual payment option doesn’t have the option to handle *subscription payment* (handling recurring payment manually would be a very hard to manage).

OK I accept option not available but manual process would simply be to request set up of a bank standing order, don’t see any difficulty in managing. Just need subscriber to get redirect to manual payment page as for any other purchase.

Am I missing something?

In that case you can probably use a normal eStore product (no need for an actual PayPal subscribe button). You can create an eStore product and specify what the recurring charges will be in the description of the product. Then when someone checks that product out via “Manual Checkout” you know that a manual bank transfer needs to be setup for it. For a manual recurring charge that you plan to setup, there is nothing special eStore needs to do.

OK, I will do although I must then have 2 separate products 1 if customer wants to subscribe with PayPal and another separate, yet identical product for manual set-up. Its an acceptable workaround,
