eStore – can I turn products off rather than deleting them

My client teaches classes and those are the products. I would like to be able to save the product setup so I don’t have to re-create it each time a class is offered. Some are only offered once a year so she doesn’t want them showing on the products page when they aren’t available.

The site is on WP v 5.0.4 and eStore v8.0.5

There is no way to “turn off” a product. You could just not display the product shortcodes for the affected products.

That doesn’t work if it is used in a category display.

How about this idea… move the products that you want “turned off” into an “OFF” category. Then the category display shortcode will not display the products you “turned off.”
