Tagged: Multiple Domains, multiple stores
I have two sites, let’s call them ABC.com and 123.com. I am using eStore to sell seats in training classes and I’d like to list the classes on both sites.
I have eStore set up and functioning as expected on ABC.com and would like to list my classes on 123.com as well. But, since the classroom can only hold 20 people, I can’t simply duplicate the products on the second site; otherwise I could oversell the class. Personally, I’d be ecstatic but the fire marshal would not be as enthusiastic. I don’t want to split the total seats across the sites (10 on each) as the traffic is not quite the same.
Is there a way that I can install eStore on 123.com *AND* link some (or all, if necessary) of the products from ABC.com?
I’ve searched the forums but all I’ve found are people trying to do the exact opposite: multiple stores/domains being used with an install of eStore on a single domain.
Thanks and happy new year!
It is not possible to have 2 eStores controlling access to one inventory. However, you could cause a single eStore to appear on multiple sites and domains.
That will work perfectly, thanks so much!
