Hello, I have installed Wp estore on a multiste. When I activate it on the entire network, my main site becomes a blank page. If activating only on a sub-domain, it works better but the download link and the product Id do not appear in the emails. Only the name and the adress of the buyer are replacing codes with braces. The debug indicates: “success” everywhere. I have set up Paypal as in the video tutorial. I tried to update wp estore but this time I get a fatal error in all cases. I have tried some solutions I’ve read in the forum but nothing works for me.
Thank you for your help.
Regards
August 14, 2012 at 12:18 pm #48372wzpModeratorIs this a new installation or an upgrade?
If this is a new installation, have you checked for co flirting plugins?
August 14, 2012 at 3:14 pm #48373HalloweenjackMemberIt is a new installation with very few pluggins. I have tried with twenty ten theme: no more blank page (so there was a conflict with my main theme), but no download link in the email either.
The main probleme is why code is not replaced ?
Thanks for help.

You were nearly at your memory limit for your account… as soon as you added the eStore plugin it pushed that limit. Contact your hosting provider and ask them how much free memory you have left on your account.
1. What other plugins are you using?
2. Can you manually generate and successfully use a download link, using the eStore –> Admin Functions page?
3. Please elaborate more about your “main problem.”
August 15, 2012 at 9:25 am #48375HalloweenjackMemberThank you for your reply. Sorry, my English is really bad and it’s hard for me to give you clear explanations. I’m going to contact my hosting provider about free memory on my account.
1. activated pluggins : Add to Footer, Akismet, BWP Google XML Sitemaps, Google Analytics Multisite Async, No Excerpt-P, SF Author Url Control, Under Construction, WordPress Database Backup, WordPress Importer, WP-PageNavi, Typography, GD Star Rating, WP eStore
2. Yes, it works
3. My main problem is that the informations (product id, download link) are still like this when I make a test as a buyer :
Merci de votre achat !
{Product_details}
Les éléments devant être expédiés seront traités dès que possible.
Tout élément numérique peut être téléchargé à l’aide des liens cryptés ci-dessous.
{Product_link}

August 15, 2012 at 10:52 pm #48376adminKeymasterRegarding your main problem… you made changes in the email body settings field and introduced a typo in those email tags, for example, {Product_details}. See how you capitalized it? that is wrong.
Please copy the email tag that you want to use from this page and paste it in your email body settings.

August 16, 2012 at 10:21 am #48377HalloweenjackMemberIt works now. Thank you so much!
I have to tell you if it can help other foreign clients that I had changed nothing in the code; it was the automatic WordPress translation which had changed the options in eStore with uppercase letters.
Last question :
I have updated my server account to the Ovh offer pro which contains 3 Mysql databases of 400MB and 1 GB and 128Mb Ram server.
1) Is this enough for eStore or do I buy a private Mysql database with 256 Mb Ram and unlimited size ?
2) Can I reserve a mysql database only to eStore all alone and how (if it is the best to do)?
Thank you again for your great help.
Regards
August 16, 2012 at 12:32 pm #48378wzpModeratorThink of MySQL like you would Microsoft Excel. One “database” equals one Excel workbook, which contains several “tables” or sheets. WordPress and all the plugins (including eStore) share the same database, and each plugin uses one or more tables within the same database. All you need is one MySQL database.
The server RAM is the physical amount of memory available to you. It (mostly) only affects the server’s performance. What is more important is the amount of virtual “PHP” memory available to you. It is virtual, meaning that it can be larger than your server’s physical memory. For PHP memory, you should start out with about 80 MB; and increase it as necessary from within your php.ini file settings.
