eStore – blank activity logs and no purchase email

    I’m trying to debug an old installation of the eStore and eMember plugins, for a client who recently re-purchased the plugins so we could post to this forum.

    Currently, though the membership products seem to be correctly set up in eStore, and associated with a membership level in eMember, no confirmation email is sent with a link to set up an account.

    I can’t check where in the process things are going wrong because the eStore activity logs are all blank.

    The buy now button leads to PayPal, and the transaction is complete. The return to merchant button in PayPal leads back to our thank you page. PayPal sends a purchase confirmation email. eSTore does not.

    The site I’m trying to get working is universaltao.tv, but currently I’m working in a test site version of that site.

    The blank logs seem to indicate that from the plugin’s perspective, no transaction is occurring.

    I can provide login details upon request.

    Lets make sure the IPN feature is enabled in the merchant’s PayPal account. Please verify the following is enabled in the PayPal account:

    Also, the following is good to make sure the IPN is not getting blocked by another plugin on this site:

    https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/what-to-do-if-the-debug-file-is-empty

    If you still can’t see anything coming trough in the log file, I will take a look at the site.

    Thanks, and sorry for the delay. I was offline.

    The IPN was disabled. I’ll do more testing.
