eStore – auto-notify customer when product back in stock?

Greetings,

I’m looking for a mechanism to utilize the inventory control in the eStore to automatically notify a potential customer when a specific product is back in stock.

Example: I want to buy widget XYZ but i’m getting a “sold out” notice because inventory is out. I want to be able to input my email address and sign up for a list to get notified with the widget i want is back in stock.

You can use a squeeze form for your sold out product to capture the email of the users who are interested in that product. The following documentation explains how to use a squeeze form:

Later, you can find all the users who were interested in that product (from the manage customers interface) and then send them an email.
