eStore and Members Only down button in Next Gen Gallery

Hi: I have eStore/eMember insalled:

My website sells eBook covers. I want to sell covers to the public and have my Members download the cover for free. Problem is: I am displaying my eBook covers using NextGen Gallery. The eStore NGG add-on has been implemented and everything works fine for the public, but question is: Will I be able to use the Member’s Only shortcode within NextGen Gallery? I want my Members to see a “Download” now button, while the public sees a “Buy Now” button.

I have researched several topics on this matter, but I can’t seem to find an answer. I tried it out myself, and (1) my image shows up twice within the gallery itself and (2) the “Download” button does not appear when logged in.

Second question: If the Member’s Only Download button does not work within NextGen Gallery, how do I offer my cover images for free to Member’s Only?

Hi Trish, The members only addon has no association with NextGen gallery plugin.

You don’t need the nexgen gallery plugin to sell your cover images. You can create a grid display of your cover image products just using eStore plugin. Read the following documentation to learn more:

When you are using the show all your products from a particular category, you can specify the “restriction” parameter.
