Is there a way when using manual payment, to not autorespond to a manually paid subscription until receiving payment, then when “Paid” status is updated in customers record, then the registration email is automatically sent then (since it’s a special link included in the email for paid registration) ?
Do the following:
Go to eMember settings and check the following option:
Manually Approve Member Registration
Now, when someone becomes a member you can manually review their membership and then activate their account once you receive the payment from them.
Ok, this worked for one day. Was manually activating and worked great. Then overnite with one user, it quit working and hasn’t since. Rechecked it, updated it, etc. Now users are activating before I approve there coupon code. What happened?
That doesn’t sound right. How are you determining that it stopped working?
Do the following test for me:
1) Make sure you have the “Manually Approve Member Registration” option enabled in eMember settings
2) Make a payment for the membership which will allow you to register for a membership account.
3) Complete the registration as usual and try to log into the site.
What does it tell you? It shouldn’t allow you to log into the site since the account needs to be activated by the admin first.
