Hi
I have a question about the best way to use this with pay per view content.
Im building the tokbox video chat plug in into my site for yoga videos.
My question is people can purchase access to the our yoga class days before the class actually is, as we only have 20 spaces available for the live classes. We are going to have a couple classes per day using the video chat software, but classes only run one at a time. Say one in the morning, one in evening
So what if they purchase a class that is two days away – but there are a couple classes running at times before then. How is it best to limit there access to the area of the video chat plug in? Obviously if they try get into another class I know I can limit there log ins/downloads to one time which I know how to do.
Is my only way just to simply ask them to not log in and clink the link until 10 minutes before the class?
Thanks for the suggestions…

You essentially want to setup each class session as separate digital products. Each product’s download link should be good for 10 days and unlimited clicks. The links should point to an APR protected page that either has a “Come back later,” the tokbox session, or a “Class Over” message.

Any specific reason for 10 day limit? Would it be better to make it a smaller window so they don’t come into any other classes?Oh but APR can protect by product so that doesn’t matter..?
Ill have to figure more of the flow out as I build it- there basically buying a class ‘credit’ they can use for the class. I was going to sell bulk passes of 5 or 10 classes they could use to purchase a class. Maybe the solution for that is they are given coupon codes to purchase the final class…
Assuming that someone might try and log in to another class or log into the wrong class – as the class area is all the same.
I read pay per view content should be on a regular html page – so people don’t find it. But if its APR protected that is ok? Cant have the plug in work outside the loop..
Thanks so much!
April 1, 2014 at 8:18 pm #61985wzpModeratorI only suggested 10 days, because you threw out the number. An APR protected page is best, because viewers will need to use an expiring download link to properly access it. An APR protected page is a regular WordPress page, that requires a special APR cookie to view its contents.

You might want to read this thread between myself and @sophie1. Her application involved the sale of coupon codes, which can be redeemed for 100% off on PPV sessions:
setting up pay per view with eStore… do I also need eMember?
Pay particular attention to the discussion of one-off PPV, gifting, serial numbers and 100% off coupons.
