Hi,
Do I need to take any special precautions when using eStore ADR cookie in combination with a caching plugin?
So far my own tests shows positive results, meaning that the ADR cookie expires after the time set in the shortcode [wp_eStore_APR expiry=240 status=unexpired] and the access to the content on that page is revoked. But I would like to know if you know about any problems in the past where the eStore ADR cookie is active even after expiring time set in the shortcode due to a caching plugin?
Regards,
H
That’s “APR” not “ADR” cookie.
The presence of an APR cookie is “not enough” to allow access to protected content. When the APR cookie is issued; a time sensitive encrypted hash code is placed in the cookie. When the cookie is “redeemed,” the validity of the hash code is checked.
Caching plugins do not affect the creation of APR cookies, because the cookies are programmatically created (in real time).
Noted. Thanks for explaining.
