Hi, I have pretty much setup the wp estore for our theme sales. So far it works fine. The email is the only problem currently I am facing. The customer is receiving the email with download link and license detail fine. However the sale notification email to admin is not being received.
I tried my business email and gmail address as well. Both did not work.
Also checked the log file and it shows SUCCESS on both emails.
[08/17/2017 12:19 PM] – SUCCESS :Notify Email successfully sent to sales(at)intensewp.com. <— This is for admin notification.
[08/17/2017 12:19 PM] – SUCCESS :Notify Email successfully sent to XXX@gmail.com. <– This is customer email and works fine.
The full log shows [SUCCESS] for all the steps. There is no failure or error.
Then I tested with the email Tester Plugin as well. The email comes fine with Email Tester.
Then did another order test, the customer email received, but not admin notification .
Not sure how to figure this out.
Can you help?
Thanks

Is the sales address a “real” inbox or a forwarding alias?
August 18, 2017 at 5:02 am #76264masterstarMemberJust tested the test mail from admin functions. No luck. no email received. Just so you know, the business email is hosted by Office 365. I tested sending to gmail address as well and it didn’t come through.
August 18, 2017 at 12:58 pm #76265wzpModeratorThe plugin, especially the Admin Functions, are agnostic to the email addresses. If you have debug logs showing successful email sends, but only “some” recipients are receiving them; it is an indication of something going on with either the SPAM filtering on the receiver’s end or some kind of SMTP restriction on the hosting provider’s end.
Have you tried using a test purchase, using a “buyer” email address on the same domain as the “sales” address?
Have you checked the SPAM folders on the receiving end?
Is anything about your site or domain, that would cause it to be blocked?
August 18, 2017 at 5:01 pm #76266masterstarMemberHi,
Yes, I did test with ordering myself. The email in from and two never same for one testing, but also tested with other situations using my personal gmail id.
I could ask the host, but the host would immediately say “how the customer email is coming fine then?”
And even if the spam filter triggers the email, the email should be in my spam box. But there is nothing.
August 18, 2017 at 11:09 pm #76267adminKeymasterThe plugin doesn’t discriminate between the customer and admin notification emails. It goes out exactly the same way.
Go through the following post. It has some useful info.
