I’m wondering why the address pieces in the customer table are concatenated into one field. In other words, why have one field which includes all the address information when the individual pieces should be stored in separate fields (street address, city, state, zip, country)? When exporting data from the table, you have to manually parse the address to do any sorting by state or country, which is a bit of a pain. Is this something you’d consider changing for future updates?
Yeah we will add the separate address values in there also.
Sounds great. A “gateway” field in that table would also be really useful. Could that be added without too much trouble? Thanks!
What do you mean by “gateway” field?
I mean a field that specifies the payment gateway (PayPal, Stripe, etc.) associated with the purchase.
