eStore – adding 'read more' link to fancy displays

Hi,

I am adding a product page for the ebooks on my site, however, I would also like to add one of the smaller fancy display options (fancy display 6 preferably) to the end of relevant posts. However, I would like to have a ‘read more’ link on the fancy display, with or instead of a ‘buy now’ or ‘add to cart’ link.

It is important that the visitors can read all the ebooks table of contents or description, and so it wouldn’t be right to not a link to the actual product page. Is that possible? If so, how could I go about setting that up?

Use a button or image which says “read more” and place the URL of this image in the “Button Image URL” field of the product configuration.

Then put the product page URL in the “Button Redirect Target URL” field.

Thanks a lot for your reply. I will give that a shot. I just wanted to check & clarify that it will work with Fancy display 6? If I use photoshop & resize a button, do you have any idea what would be the best size for me to make the button on that?

You can use any size for your button image really.

With that said, use a size of 100px by 24px to make the button look exactly the same size as displayed at the following URL:
