eStore – add to cart – quantity 2 by default

Hi!

I am looking for a way to have the “add to cart” button add (quantity)2 of an item automatically, instead of just (quantity)1. This is a reservation and needs to be sold in pairs, so the line item in the shopping cart needs the quantity set as 2.

How can I accomplish this?

which php file do i need to edit that make that work?

i would appreciate any help on this. Thanks!

Why not describe the product, as “…for 2” and price it accordingly?

I brought that up to the client and they would like it priced per person and shown as quantity 2.
