eStore – Add text to items that appear in cart

Hi!

I’m trying to figure out how to add text in the shopping cart after a person adds their item.

Let’s say I’m selling fresh ham. Here’s what I’d like to do.

1. Customer selects two medium sized pigs that will eventually be ham, and their deposit on the hams is $150.

2. Would like customer to see a message in the cart (beside or beneath the medium size pig title in the cart) that says, “Your balance for each medium sized ham at time of pickup will be between $25 and $100.”

I just want the customer to clearly see this message when they add their items to the cart.

Is this something I should already be able to do using the software as is and I’m just not seeing it in the setup panel?

Hi Lynn, The cart can’t add a dynamic message like that with the balance. Couldn’t you add that message in the product description so the user can see it when they are adding it to the cart?
