    Hi,

just bought the plugin and going through the first steps.

A few things are not working as they should:

    1) No Permission to upload product image from my computer

I’ve created my first product and was willing to upload its image but, after clicking the Upload File Button in the ADDITIONAL PRODUCT DETAILS section, the plugin says that “I do not have permission to access this document”.

Being the administrator of the blog, this is awkward! Maybe I’ve missed something in the setting section?

    2) Smart Thumbnail Option not working

As I was denied to upload the image directly from my computer, I copied and pasted an image’s URL from my wp media library: in that way I could test the [wp_eStore_fancy2 id=1] on my blog.

The look of the product’s thumbnail image looked squashed so I checked the Smart Thumbnail Option in the SETTING SECTION with the result that no image turned up.

    3) Unstyled look of Fancy Add to Cart and Fancy Cart

Furthermore, the [wp_eStore_cart_fancy1_when_not_empty] and the [wp_eStore_fancy2 id=1] are differently styled from the ones advertised on your sales page. View [http://www.portobelloitaliano.it/il-principe-delle-donne/]

    they look slightly unstyled!

    Thanks for your help.

    1) This usually happens if your uploads older doesn’t have the correct permission. eStore uses WordPress’s media uploader interface so if you can upload images via media uploader then you should be able to use the eStore ones too. Anyway, what you did in terms of copying the URL works too.

    2) This one is also related to the permission issue like point #1 above. The server is not letting the thumbnail creator to create a directory called “cache” inside the eStore plugin. Can you please log into your server using FTP and look in the estore plugin folder and tell me what permission is set on that folder?

    3) When I go to the page you shared above, I don’t see any fancy 2 display. Where are you using it? You are using the shopping cart fancy1 only on the sidebar and it looks okay. You are not using all the features like “continue shopping”, “Terms and Conditions” in your site which is why it looks slightly different. You can enable those features from the settings if you like.
