Tips and Tricks HQ Support Portal › Forums › WP eStore Forum › eStore – Actual design on buy now button differs from the tutorial video
Tagged: buy button
Which product you are using (example: eStore, WP Affiliate Platform, eMember, PDF Stamper etc…)?
eStore. The design of the buy now button shown 3:45 minutes in, in the following video https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wp-estore-quick-setup-and-usage-video-tutorial-593 is not the same as the design on the button generated by the same shortcode in my version of eStore plugin.
Provide a link to the exact page where the problem is seen

What part of the product isn’t working?
The design is different using the same shortcode [wp_eStore_buy_now_button id=1] as in the video.
What are you trying to achieve?
How do I fix this? I want the same design or similar to the one in the video.
What causes the error to show up?
No clue.
What version of the plugin are you using?
Version 8.0.7
Did you modify the plugin code?
No.
Best regards,
H
The standard button’s appearance is controlled by your theme’s CSS.
The following page explains how you can customize the button using an image so it looks how you want it to look like (regardless of your theme’s CSS):
I have used the following shortcode to create a buy button on bit.ly/2Wcpj3c :
<center>[wp_eStore_buy_now_custom_button id=2 button=https://***** Moderated at request of OP *****]</center>
The generated button is showned correctly on desktop computer but with the following errors on mobile iPhone 5S:
1) button text “beställ nu” is not centered in the button area
2) The text font is other than the font in the .svg file.
How do I solve these two problems?
Try using a .PNG or .JPG image; instead of a Scalable Vector Graphics .SVG file. Remember, .SVG graphics are XML objects and are “subject to interpretation” by the browser.
