MemberHello,
I would like to offer a 100% off coupon on a product which will result on a $0.00 transaction. However, when you click the checkout button to process this transaction through Paypal, there is an error because it is a $0.00 transaction.
I read elsewhere on the forum that there is a workaround here … but the post was over 2 yrs old and I do not see the same settings now. The post said to select ‘Manual checkouts for $0 transactions’, but I do not see this in the Payment Gateway Settings.
Can you help me figure out how to offer this 100% off coupon on just one product that will allow the customer to checkout AND still be added to my Autoresponder (Aweber)?
The product and A/R are already set up and working … just need the checkout component to work.
Many thanks,
Andie

KeymasterYou have got the option label slightly wrong which is why you are failing to find it.
Go to eStore settings -> Payment gateway settings menu
Now, find the following option (its near the top):

MemberThat was the post I looked at before, I just didn’t recall the setting name correctly.

MemberThank you – I was able to update to the new version and the Manual Checkout option is working.
However, I am finding that when the manual checkout is complete, the buyer is not added to my Aweber autoresponder. The autoresponder settings are correct in the product. Do I need to do anything different for the A/R settings to work with manual checkout?
Thanks!

MemberNevermind to the previous question. I’ve sorted it out. Didn’t have the AWeber settings right.
