Hello!
We are using a coupon to give away a software for free to some of our members.
We are using paypal as our payment option, but have check the “Redirect to Manual Checkout For Zero Amount Purchase” option checked.
However, when we use the coupon, it stays in a loop of “redirecting” forever and the customer never actually gets to the payment page.
I have tried clicking the “If you’re not redirected in 5 seconds” button, but nothing works.
Please help!

March 31, 2020 at 6:09 pm #80395RALabITSpectatorI have set up the manual checkout page & configured all of the options as mentioned in the article above.
I don’t want to show “manual” checkout as an option for anything other than items with a $0.00 balance.
Basically, this coupon is only available to people who are logged in under a certain membership level.
I don’t want everyone else who is logged in with a different membership level to see the manual checkout option, but I want it to automatically redirect to this option if the coupon makes the sale amount $0.
Every other time, we’ll be using paypal.
I’m still having the issue when they are being redirected after inputting the coupon – the manual checkout page never loads.

April 2, 2020 at 3:18 am #80396adminKeymasterI will need to log into this site and check all the configuration and see what is going on. However, I see temporary URLs being used at the moment. Please note that we can’t provide any support when users are setting up things on local host or on temporary URLs. This is explained in our terms. Too many issues that are external to the plugin come from local host environment (or temporary URL). Please tell me when the domain is live with live URLs for pages. Then I can log into your site and check everything one by one.
April 2, 2020 at 7:57 pm #80397RALabITSpectatorOkay, so I have tested it on another website & it works.
However, we’re using this product to switch users from one level of membership to another for free using the coupon.
We have added the product id in the “reference text” section of this product, but when I purchase the product as a test using the 100% off coupon, it doesn’t change my membership level.
Basically, user is Level 1 member – User logs into website – User is prompted to purchase level 2 item with 100% off coupon – User Purchases Level 2 Item (because of this purchase, they are now a Level 2 Member. So their membership level should be changed by the reference text associated with the product.)
However, this process isn’t working.
Is there something I am doing wrong? Does the plugin not allow for this functionality?

The product shows up in “my downloads” but the membership level has not changed.

Create Membership Account
That checkbox is just below the checkbox for “Automatically Update Customer & Products Database”
